João Gonzalez is a director, animator, illustrator and musician who trained as a classical pianist. After a Bachelor's from the ESMAD in Portugal, he gained a Master's from the Royal College of Art in the UK. He made two prize-winning films in these schools: Nestor and The Voyager. He is very interested in how he can combine his musical training with his work as an animation creator, often taking the role of composer, and sometimes instrumentalist, on the films he makes.
