Eros Puglielli was born in Rome in 1973. After having directed a feature film on video in 1993, Dorme, prize-winner at Bellaria, he enters the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome where he makes two short films: "Assunta" 1995 and "Effetto Placebo" 1996, prize-winner at Capalbio. The same year he makes "Il Pranzo Onirico", presented at Venice, prize-winner at Sienne and Turin and nominated at David di Donatello. "I racconto di Baldassarre" is his first 35 mm short film.
