Born in 1969, Jamie Thraves studies graphic arts at Humberside university from 1988 to 1991. He continued his studies at The Royal College of Art. Two of his school films have been presented at Angers : "The Hackney Downs" which won a prize in 1995 and "Down in the city" in 1996. "I just want to kiss you" is his firts out-of-school film.
