Born in 1966, Paul Lacoste began his career by making documentaries in 1991. Since 1998 he divides his time between teaching audiovisual studies (as a university lecturer) at the Université de Toulouse II and intense production of documentaries for television which includes Louis Froidour which was aired on France 3. I fell asleep is his first short fiction film, made at the same as l'île au phare, a standard fiction film presented this year in Angers in the " freestyle " category.
