In the middle of the quiet, deserted countryside stretches an abandoned motorway as far as the eye can see, unused since it was built. At the edge of the tarmac, just a few metres from the safety barriers, stands an isolated house where a family lives. Home features a couple and their three children living peacefully on the edge of an abandoned motorway. When construction resumes and the first cars arrive, the family harmony breaks down.
