Wissam Charaf was born in Beirut in 1973. From 1990 to 1993 he worked for Lebanese and foreign radio and TV channels, than as a video editor till moving to Paris in 1998.Since then, he has worked as a cameraman, assistant director, editor and even screenwriter. He wrote the screenplay for Hizz Ya Wizz, his first short film, in 2002 and directed it in 2004.
