Celia Galvan Julve obtained a BA in audiovisual communication at the Universitat Autonoma in Barcelona. Awarded the British Council / La Caixa Scholarship to undertake postgraduate studies in the UK, she pursued an MA in animation at London's Royal College of Art. She graduated in 2002 with the film Historia del Desierto. Past animation film credits include Spider (1999) and Fused (2001).
