Here, There, are two words usually used to describe the distances between people. The whole life of a man, always starts from the beginning to one other point, that is from here to there. However, we can find that we seldom go back from there to here where we started. Fallen leaves return to the roots. On the contrary, fallen leaves can help grow roots. The distances between people, the past and the present of people, or life and death, are all the reflections of Here, There. This is Lu Sheng's first feature film. He studied cinema in France and went back to China in 2005.
