Scared to death by their alcoholic stepfather, fond of the sixties and whose main activity is to clean up the sewers, Jonas and his brother decided to get rid of him. When they proceed to carry their scheme out, they find out who Albert is for real.

Nicolaj Arcel was borned in Denmark in1972. After five years studies at the European Film College, he directed The Grace Palace in 1995 as well as several series for Danish Television (Starjoker, Kiss the Island). In 1998, he entered the National Danish Film School, in the Film Directing Department, where he is currently studying. Help my Stepfather is a monster ! is his second year film.
