The life of soldiers at a border post in the mountains of Southern Bulgaria in the 1970's. The friendship between the two protagonists gradually drifts into the ferocious hatred between the one who denounces the absurd system and the other who supports it because he believes he can profit by it.

Ilian Simeonov was born in 1963 in Yamboul, Bulgaria. After working as an actor and set designer in the theatre, he studied at the National Film and Theatre Academy from 1986 to 1991. Histian Notchev was born in 1964 in Plodiv, Bulgaria. After directing a first short film in 1983, he studied at the National Film and Theatre Academy from 1986 to 1991. Alongside his studies, he worked on several Bulgarian feature films. Since 1991, he has been working as a director at Bulgarian National Television.
