On the night of 31 December, Father Christmas goes round the houses to wish the children a happy new year. But he has a bit too much to drink, or gets chatted up by an unscrupulous young woman, this little promenade could turn also perhaps into a wild catch as catch can.

Georges Gachechiladze was born in 1963. He enrolled in 1990 in the direction department of GSITF (Tbilissi). "Gilotsavt is his second film. He made "Trse" in 1993 which has been shown in Angers Festival in 1994.
