Kris Krikellis was born in 1965 in Athens. He has studied directing since 1991 at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna, during which he directed three short films: This is Not a Postcard 1996,Die Weiche 1997 - presented at the Cinéfoundation at the Cannes Film Festival in 1998 and Germania .
