Adrien Mérigeau was born in 1983 in France and studied animation in the French animation school EMCA from 2001 to 2004. He first worked at Cartoon Saloon in Ireland as Background Supervisor on the Oscar-nominated feature film The Secret of Kells by Tom Moore (2009), and as an Art Director on Cartoon Saloon's second Oscar-nominated film Song of the Sea (2014).
