Marco Antoniazzi was born in 1972 in Bolzano, Italy. He studied at the Zelig Film School from 1991 to 1993, before entering the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna in 1994. There, he has already directed Max and Mora and A South Tyrol Tale in 1998, and Half moon river in 2000.
