Paul Garcia, 30, was born in Bordeaux and now lives and works in Paris. After graduating from the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, he was script assistant for Bénédicte Kermadec, then the assistant director for Benoit Maire and Christophe Loizillon. In 2017, Paul developed the short film Fugueur (Runaway), produced by Trois Brigands Production. In April he participated in the writing residency MedInScenario and worked with Ron Dyens on the film's screenplay. Fugueur won the France Télévision prize during this residency.
