Susanne Bier
Freud, the daughter of the family, is constantly on the verge of leaving home. her mother Rosha, who will be celebrating her 60th birthday with her famimly, falls terribly ill and everyone is deeply distressed. Freud then decides to go and lead her own life.

Suzanna Bier was born in 1960 in Denmark. She studied at the Copenhagen school of cinema from 1983 to 1987. "De Saligas O", the film she presented for her diploma obtained first prize at the Munich Festival of school films, and was bought by the BBC. Suzanne Bier has also produced several music videos, and was assistant on two full-lenght features.
