When his husband Franck is sent on an assignment to Djibouti, Roger remains alone at the Fort Buchanan base. Beaten by his adoptive daughter Roxy, he seeks comfort and advice from his friends and begins relying on a sports coach.

After graduating from Yale in 2002, Benjamin Crotty continued studying cinema at Le Fresnoy in the North of France. He has produced and directed several short films in varying political, social and material situations. He lives and works in Paris.
