Un adieu

A car drives along the French coast. A father is taking his daughter to Paris to begin her student life, a new life in an unknown city, far from her childhood and far from him. This one to one journey is their first, and maybe their last. Both of them know they'll have to say goodbye.

Mathilde Profit graduated from the script department of La Fémis in 2009. Since then she has worked with directors such as Mikael Buch, Serge Bozon, Leos Carax, Sophie Fillières and Nicole Garcia. Un adieu (First Goodbyes) is her first short film.
