Born in Moscow, Vladilen Vierny grew up in Belgium before settling in Paris. He completed his studies in Film directing in 2013. After his experimental documentary Traceurs (selected at Visions du réel in Nyon 2012 and at FID Marseille 2012) and his short fiction 219 about electronic monitoring, Exile is his graduation film. His film Shopping, was directed in the framework of Ludwigsburg Workshop, and is selected this year in the School Films Competition.
