Born in 1978 in Trieste, Martin Turk began in 1998 his studies of film and TV direction at the Ljubljana Academy (AGRFT), and took his degree in 2004. Worked as assistant director on several full-lenght feature films, includind Danis Tanovic's No Man's Land. His graduation short film Izlet, won several international awards. Rezina Življenja has been selected in 2007 at Premiers Plans.
