Susana Nobre
In Alhambra, between the mountains and the river, a train runs through the village. 48-year-old Oscar finds himself waiting for the court ruling on the insolvency of the factory where he worked for the past 25 years. With suspended production and unpaid wages, Oscar and his colleagues continue to turn up to work every day hoping that they can keep their jobs.

Born in Lisbon in 1974, Susana Nobre finished her degree in Media Studies at Universidade Nova de Lisbon in 1998. After working in collaboration with the Cinematography Laboratory at Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, she co-founded Terratreme in 2008. Her film Lisboa Provincia was selected in 2011 in the European first short films competition in Premiers Plans.
