Ein lied fur Beko
Nizamettin Ariç

Beko's reluctant odyssey across Kurdistan. After being arrested by the Turks, he manages to escape and goes in search of his brother, believed to be in Syria, then in Irak. He lives through the events of the Iraq-Iran war until he's taken into a German refugee camp. A song for Beko is the first Kurdish film by a Kurd.
