Eclipse

"A lunar eclipse is a night within a night. After sundown comes moondown. After dark comes the darkness, where bodies forget their boundaries." Obscured by a lunar eclipse, the circus act of the lion tamer turns into a game of hide and seek. Man and animal are opposed in an abstracted visual spectacle of darkness and light.
Jacky De Groen (b. 1992) studied animation at KASK School of Arts in Belgium. Her favourite colour is blue.
