Carole is pregnant and suffers from strange hearing problems. Sometimes she hears dizzying buzzing sounds. Her husband is away on a film shoot, and she is all alone in their new apartment. At night she can hear strange, inexplicable noises which initially intrigue her, but very quickly become an obsession.
