Born in 1971 in Germany, Mirjam Kubescha studied art history in Perouse, Italy. In 1996 she graduated from the Cinema department of the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. The same year she entered the directing department at the Munich Academy for Television & Film. In 1997, she founded her own production company, "Confine Film". In 1998, she directed her first short film, Inside the Boxes. Currently, she is preparing a medium-length film for her graduation, The Madonna of Vlatodon, and is developing her first feature film, Cruisade.
