Pedro Caldas graduated from the College of Cinema in Lisbon. He directed a documentary, "Entrée sur scène" in 1997. He has also worked as sound engineer for several feature films, including "Corte de Cabelo" by Joaquim Sapinho prize winner at Angers in 1996. He has also worked as director of production for several theatre plays. "E so um minuto..." is his first short film.
