After studying at the FAMU (Prague Academy of Film and Performing Arts), Thomas Bjerregaard goes on to the DDF (National Film School of Denmark) in 1999. While there he made Agnete in 2000, De ni odelaeggelser in 2001 and as his final project film, Aftenland. He has also written for theatre and television.
