Zayane is a 70-year-old Algerian immigrant who lives a simple, ordinary life in a council flat until one day she receives a mysterious letter from her former boss in Algeria which shakes up her routine.She cannot read or write, and for the first time she heroically goes beyond the boundaries of her neighbourhood. She is lost, and calls on her friend Amel to help her get to her destination. This is an opportunity for the two friends to talk like never before…Meanwhile, this unusual absence causes a panic in her family. Her 11 children meet up in their mother’s flat. Arguments, reunions and a burning secret!

Fejria Deliba started on stage with Antoine Vitez. She was one of the La Bande des quatre (Gang of Four) by Jacques Rivette and Zouina in Inch’allah dimanche (Inch’allah Sunday) by Yamina Benguigui, winning several acting awards. She was L’Aziza in the Balavoine music video, and the woman who breaks free from the weight of traditions for Rachida Krim.On television and in the cinema for Jean-Claude Brisseau, Olivier Assayas, Sólveig Anspach, Mehdi Charef, Cédric Kahn, Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau... Alongside Leïla Bekhti, she has worked with Nora Hamdi or Géraldine Nakache and Hervé Mimran in Tout ce qui brille (All That Glitters)…With her multi-award-winning short film Le Petit chat est mort, presented at Premiers Plans, she was the first person to take Molière into a council flat kitchen!
