Due come noi, non dei migliori

Divided into two episodes, Due come noi, non dei migliori tells the story of two solitary people. Yusuf, a Tunisian who has just arrived in Rome, takes a job as a dishwasher in a restaurant. The day of his first paycheque, someone steals his money. Yusuf injures himself chasing after the thief, and a young woman, Ivana, helps and comforts him. Six months later, Ivana leads a cloistered lifestyle after she stopped teaching and took up translation. She lives holed up in her flat, her only contact with the outside being the voices on her busy answering machine. The unexpected visit of her friend Léa upsets her daily life.
