In 1995, Marek Kopčaj started working for the Ceck Television, as director and screenplay writer. In 1996, he entered the FAMU and directed several short films such as Stand up, Brothers (1996), Coito Ergo Sum (1997) and recently Divka na telefon. This year, he directed a documentary on Nottingham, city where he studied for three months.
