Following a degree in management engineering, Valéry Rosier went into directing and graduated from the IAD in 2005. His graduation film, Yéti, was selected for a number of festivals. He also worked as an assistant on feature films. In 2008 he made the short film Bonne nuit, which was selected for Premiers Plans and nominated for the European Film Awards in 2009. In 2011 he completed a new short, Dimanches, and made a documentary, Silence radio, in the Picardie region of France. He is currently working on the screenplay of his first feature at the scriptwriting workshops at La fémis.
