Natacha, 7 years old, is growing up in a small town close to Vienna. Because her first impression of sexuality disturb her, she finds it difficult to assimilate the catholics precepts of the people around her and finds refuge in a world of symbols.

Barbara Albert was born in 1970 in Vienna, Austria. She studied journalism and theatre before going to the Film School of Vienna in 1991 where she studied Production and Script-writing. She has directed four shorts and a documentary film. "Die Frucht deines Leibens" is her graduation film.
