Born in Paris in 1981, Arthur Harari studied cinema at University. He has made several short and medium length films, including Des jours dans la rue in 2006 and La Main sur la gueule in 2007, which were presented at Premiers Plans. La Main sur la gueule won several awards, including the Grand Prix du Festival de Brive and the Lutin for best short. With Peine perdue, which will be screened this year as part of Plans Suivants, he won the short film Grand Prix at the Festival Entrevues de Belfort 2013. He is also an occasional actor (La bataille de Solférino by Justine Triet in 2013), and is currently preparing his first feature, Diamant noir, which will be shot in the summer of 2014.
