Julien Leloup was born in 1972 in Nice. After graduating from the Editing department of the FEMIS in 1998, he worked as an editor for numerous short films, including La Puce and Les vacances by Emmanuelle Bercot. The script for his film Des Anges obtained the Louis-Daquin grant.
