Nikolaus Buchholz was born in Hamburg (Germany) in 1961. He studied illustration and worked in the field of creative video before directing two shorts and joining the production section of the HFF Babelsberg in 1991. He is currently finishing his graduation film. Stefanie Schütz was born in Stuttgart (Germany) in 1968. In 1991, she joined the Fine Arts Scool of Berlin where she studied the Stage-set design. She directed her first fictional short in 1993.
