After graduating from Middle East Technical University, Tayfun Pirselimoglu studied painting and sculpture in Vienna. He is a published author "Tales from the desert",1996, and has been involved in filmmaking since 1985, many of his scripts having won awards at International festivals. "Dayim" is Pierselimoglu's first turn as director of a short film.
