This is Sylvain Derosne's first film as a director. He graduated from ENSAD and soon specialised in model animation. He was an animator on Michel Gondry's film L'Écume des jours (Mood In-digo) (2013), and also animation director on Spike Jonze's short film Mourir auprès de toi..
Sébastien Laudenbach has competed in the most prestigious festivals with his previous films. He is currently directing Seul, his first animated feature based a-on an unknown story by the Brothers Grimm entitled "The Girl Without Hands", with the support of Les Films Sauvages (theatrical release planned for December 2015).
