Jasmijn Kooijman, born in 1997, grew up in Amsterdam but moved to Sweden in 2015, where she started studying film. She is interested in the relationship between film and politics. Many of her projects revolve around either forced migration or migration by choice. The formats she uses vary from documentary, fiction and artfilm to stop-motion. She is currently working on her first documentary feature.
