David Jansen

A wolf child, an angel, a cat. The film animated in the tradition of wood cut technique, tells the story of an abandoned child, who grows up with wolfs after his mother rescued him from his violent father. After an enigmatic journey full of privations and in quest for identity he finds his peace in forgiveness.

David Jansen, born on 7 January 1981 in Wipperfuerth, Germany, became a mechanic in plastic and rubber technologies after school. Afterwards he did an internship at Columbia Tristar in script development, followed by work for Sony Pictures. While working at Sony Pictures he made his first own short films. From 2006-2012 he studied animation at the Academy for Media Arts, Cologne in the film class of Raimund Krumme and Stéphanie Beaugrand.
