Filip Marczewski was born in Lodz in 1974. He studied the arts at Warsaw University then enrolled in PWSFTviT where he made the documentaries I Must Wait a Bit Longer and Poor-Land (presented the Amsterdam, Tampere, and Cracow Festivals). Melodrama is his most recent short film.
