Hassan Zbib was born in 1960 in Kuwait of French and lebanese nationality. He is a graduate of l'Ecole supérieure d'études cinématographiques de Paris. He directed the documentary Ashoura in 1986 and a Special report on Lebanon in 1995. He is also been production director and actor. Comment t'expliquer, mère? is his first cinematographic production.
