After studying at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, Clément Cogitore developed an artistic practice part way between cinema and contemporary art. Mixing film, installations and photos, his work questions the notions of images in movement, the representation of history and memory, and the figuration of the sacred. Winner of the 2004 Fondation Beaucharmais award, Clément Cogitore lives and works between Paris and Strasbourg. Chroniques is his first film.
