Born in Nîmes in 1985 into a family of artists where life and performance were intimately linked, Manolo Marty grew up in the suburbs of Paris, in Aubervilliers. Before finishing his studies he became a basketball player, and at the age of 25 ended his sporting career. As a child he encountered extraordinary characters that today he wants to film.
