Born in 1985, Rachid Hami is an actor. He was notably in Abdellatif Kechiche's L'Esquive (Games of Love and Chance) and in Arnaud Desplechin's Rois et Reine (Kings ad Queen). His film Point d'effet sans cause, filmed in video, was presented in the Figures Libres section of Premiers Plans in 2005. Choisir d'aimer is his first professional 35 mm short.
