Lise Akoka studied psychology and acting. Through casting and coaching children for the cinema, she discovered a way to combine two of her main interests.
After studying film at la Sorbonne, Romane Gueret took her first steps towards directing by working on sets as an assistant director, a casting assistant and as a camera operator for TV.
