Filippos Tsitos was born in Athens (Greece) in 1966. He studied marketing and was an assistant director before going to the DFFB in 1991 where he directed four shorts, among which are "Parlez-moi d'amour", a prize-winner in Angers in 1995, and "Komm' gleich wieder" shown in Angers in 1996.
