Rokhaya Marieme Balde is a Senegalese director who was born in Dakar. She began her film studies at Sup Imax Dakar (Institut Supérieur des Arts et Métiers du Numérique). After experiences in China and Montreal, she chose the HEAD school in Geneva to do her Bachelor's degree in directing.
