Born in Israel in 1987, Daniella Schnitzer is an illustrator and animated film director currently based in France. In 2015 she graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, where she codirected the film Within Thy Walls. In 2019 she completed her training at La Poudrière, where she made the film En septembre, j'ai déménagé en France and her graduation film Entre deux, a personal diary.
