Màrton Vècsei was born in 1973 in Lengyeltòti. He studied painting at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Art, and has been a student at the SFF since 1998. In the course of his studies, he has also directed Pompeia (1999), Cauchemar de l'aristocratie (2000), and Waterlillys (2002).
