Guillaume Malandrin was born in France and after graduating from the Cinematography Department at INSAS moved to Belgium where he worked as a screenplay writer. In 1996, he made his first short Bonjour, followed by the documentary Les Chanoine, about the annual Lourdes Pilgrimages, co-directed by Vincent Tavier. Together they founded "la Parti" Production Company, in conjunction with Philippe Kauffmann and Stéphane Vuillet. They produced Mr. Malandrin's next short film Raconte, presented and awarded at several international film festivals. Between 1999 and 2002, he co-wrote the animation series Panique au village by Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier. He then produced Aaltra by Benoît Delépine and Gustave Kervern (2003), and his own first feature film Ça m'est égal si demain n'arrive pas, shot on video. He is currently in pre-production on his second feature Où est la main de l'homme sans tête?
